Located in historic Galt Ontario next to the Soper Park Gardens, this off-grid, and low-impact dwelling is designed for a botanist and agricultural scientist to live in, work in, and create community connections through. Aesthetically, the design was inspired by the simple form of a garden shed, which has been expanded upon to provide a cozy residence on the north side, and a greenhouse/research space to the south. Surrounded by gardens and native plants, and with a creek flowing alongside, the Soper Park Sanctuary is an ideal biophillic retreat.
